Art and Connection

"Art and Connection - art therapy and art based supervision" is the title of my article for the journal of ANSE (Association of National Organisations for Supervision in Europe). The article is based on the experience of the workshop I held for my supervisor colleagues from all over Europe at the ANSE Summer University in 2023 in Budapest.

Part of the workshop gave an insight of a group art therapy session and in the other part of the workshop we had an art-based supervision session during which the participants had a first-hand experience with art tools for situations when a client does not feel like talking much or when we feel that with verbality we keep on hovering on the surface. With art tools we can help our clients not only with self-acceptance but also with gaining new perspectives, having a deeper insight and understanding. 

My article is also about my journey from my two left- handedness to art therapist, art-based supervisor and coach.
